Jñana Yajña at CIRD - North America: As announced earlier, Poojya Swamiji, accompanied by Ma Gurupriyaji will arrive in
USA in the 3rd week of May. Brni. Namrata Swaroopa will travel along with them. Swami Nirviseshananda Tirthaji will reach earlier, by mid-April, to
conduct Vedanta classes at selected locations.
CIRD-NA will host Poojya Swamiji, Nutan Swamiji and Ma in an independent bungalow in Virginia, to facilitate greater public participation and opportunity
for Guru-sannidhi during the Jnana Yajna.

Programmes in Virginia Centre of CIRD-NA: Poojya Swamiji will conduct a 4-day Transformative Spiritual Retreat
during the weekend May 28-31 at the Airlie Conference Centre, Virginia. The Retreat will include lectures, interactive sessions and meditation designed to
cultivate and harness inner poise and fulfillment. The place has been specially chosen for its peaceful, sylvan environment.

Programmes in Dallas: Poojya Swamiji and Ma Gurupriyaji will be in Dallas during Jun 4-7. They will be hosted at the residence

Launching of a new website: In order to bring out wider public awareness of Poojya Swamiji’s visit, CIRD-NA has launched a
new website: cirdna.org. The website gives details of the Retreat being organized, and how to participate in it. The site will continue to remain active even
afterwards, forming a part of Poojya Swamiji’s Brahmavidya disseminational efforts.

CIRD-Delhi Programme: Poojya Swamiji along with Nutan Swamiji and Ma left for Delhi on Mar 21. Brni. Namrata Swaroopa also
travelled along with them. They will be in CIRD, Vasundhara, to conduct the Sadhana Shibiram at the Centre. Poojya Swamiji and M¡ will return to the Ashram
on April 05. Nutan Swamiji will leave for USA from Delhi on April 10 night.

Talk in Delhi: Poojya Swamiji has been invited by the Prakash Mehrotra Memorial Trust to speak on “Spirituality - Key to
Enlightened Decision Making” on March 28, 2010, at the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium (89 Lodhi Estate, Lodhi Road). Hon’ble Justice Sri AK Patnaik, Judge,
Supreme Court of India, will preside over the function and Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi will grace the occasion as Chief Guest.

Talk in Chennai: Poojya Swamiji, accompanied by Ma and Nutan Swamiji, halted in Chennai for 2 days while returning from
Jamshedpur. On Mar 04, Poojya Swamiji spoke on “Means to Self-realization” at ‘Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Smaraka Bhavanam’ (Auditorium of Tattvaloka),
Chennai. Integrating the spiritual messages outlined in Upadesha Saaram and Sat Darshanam of Ramana Maharshi with the Vedantic Texts of Shankaracharya, Poojya
Swamiji vividly explained to the packed audience, the means to self-realization.

Pongaala at Pandavagiri Devi Temple: Under the guidance of Poojya Swamiji, the first ever ‘Pongaala samarpanam’ at the
centuries old Pandavagiri Devi Temple was conducted on Mar 07 morning. More than 1000 devotees participated in the holy event. Elaborate arrangements were
made for individual families to prepare paayasam (sweet made of rice and jaggery) as an offering to the Goddess. In the open ground of the Temple, participating
ladies used separate earthen vessels and small firewood ovens. Each of the nearly 700 ovens was lit by the fire brought from the main consecrated oven.
Recognizing the vibrant, devotional response of the entire village, it was decided to make pongaala an annual event. ‘Kaartika-deepam’ (lighting of thousands
of lamps during the month of Kaartika), a programme initiated at Pandavagiri Devi Temple by Poojya Swamiji a few years ego, has already become a sacred annual
festival for the devotees. Speaking on the occasion, Poojya Swamiji said that such congregational devotional events form the backbone of a strong, value-based
society.

Poojya Swamiji will conduct a 3-day discourse (in English) from May 03 to 05, on “Personal Fulfillment & Professional Excellence”
at the Neeranjali Hall of Chinmaya Mission, Thrissur. This will be the first English discourse series in Thrissur by Poojya Swamiji.

As announced last month, Second Annual 5-day Satsanga Shibiram (in Malayalam) will be held jointly by Narayanashrama Tapovanam,
Vyasa Tapovanam and Jnanashram from April 19 to 23 at Vedavyasa Bhavan, Vyasagiri. Those who wish to participate may obtain requisite application forms from
the Ashram by e-mail or by post.

Mar 14: Swamiji held a tele-satsang (through video conference) from the Ashram with nearly 30 devotees at SIRD-Malaysia.

Poojya Swamiji’s 77th Jayanti will be observed on May 13 at the Ashram as well as at the Centres in Delhi, Malaysia, USA and
Jamshedpur. The day will also be observed by devotees in Pune and Chennai.
