     As announced earlier, the 5th Sreemad Bhaagavata Tattva Sameekshaa Satram will be held in Naimishaaranyam, Paralikad, Trichur, from 20th to 31st December 2006. The venue is the sacred precincts of Tacchanatthukavu Devi Temple.

The Satram has now become an annual event in the minds and hearts of the Bhaagavata lovers in the entire region. More than four thousand devotees from different villages and cities are expected to assemble in Naimishaaranyam daily to listen to the 12-day Bhaagavata exposition.

The message of Sreemad Bhaagavatam is that Knowledge of the Supreme Truth is the sole panacea for the human mind afflicted by the world. The Satram aims at instilling the values expounded in the Text making them ‘the warp and woof of daily life’. More than 50 distinguished exponents – sannyaasins and scholars – will be speaking on the great Text, emphasizing its philosophy, deeper values and principles.

Over 1000 devotees will participate in the Vishnusahasranaama Saamoohika Yajña on 31st December 2006. Every devotee will have the opportunity to worship the Lord with flowers (arcana) and witness oblations (havana).

     12th Annual Geeta Tattva Sameeksha in Thrissur will be held between 21st and 28th January 2007 at the Vadakkunathan Temple Sreemoolasthaanam. Poojya Swamiji will speak (in Malayalam) on Bhakti Yoga, the 12th chapter of Bhagavadgeetaa.

     Delhi Jnaana Yajna: Nutan Swamiji arrived in Delhi on October 26 and conducted discourses on ‘Towards Freedom & Fearlessness’ based on Upanishads, in Lok Kala Manch (Lodhi Road) from Oct 28 to Nov 01 in the morning between 7:00 and 8:15 a.m. Thereafter he took morning classes on Mundakopanishad from Nov 4 to Nov 8 at CIRD.

Poojya Swamiji and Maa arrived on Nov 10. Guru arcana was held on Nov 12 morning at CIRD. Poojya Swamiji’s classes on ‘Harnessing Inner Resources for Interactional Excellence’ based on Vivekachoodaamani were conducted between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. from Nov 14 to Nov 21 and Maa Gurupriyaji took classes on ‘Intensifying Saadhana in Daily Life’ between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. from Nov 14 to Nov 20, at CIRD.

Poojya Swamiji’s evening discourses on ‘Conflicts of the Mind – their Redressal through Knowledge’ based on Yogavaasishtha Ramayana, held at Chinmaya Mission between Nov 17 and Nov 21 were very well attended.

Vishnu Sahasranaama Yajna is scheduled to be held on Nov 26 at CIRD. 

Poojya Swamiji along with Maa and Nutan Swamiji will be back at Narayanashrama Tapovanam, Thrissur on Nov 30.
