On 28th Jan, cataract operation was performed successfully on Poojya Swamiji's left eye at Shankara Eye Centre in Coimbatore. The post operation check up was done on 10th and the progress is satisfactory.

Considering the reconstruction work in progress of Ashram building in Thrissur, it has been decided to cancel Poojya Swamiji's Lucknow visit. Swamiji along with Maa and Naya Swamiji will visit Delhi from 19 Mar to 5 Apr.

Youth Programme: An interactive session called 'Interactional Excellence for Youth' was held on 8th Feb 2004 in the Vijnaana Bhavan of the Ashram. About forty-five youngsters including twenty women participated. 

Hospital in Kodannur, near Venginisseri, Thrissur - Foundation stone laying: Poojya Swamiji was invited to Kodannur, on the 11th February in connection with the foundation stone laying function of the proposed hospital in 'Amma Nagar'. The hospital with all modern facilities will have 100 beds and is designed to fulfill the requirements of the people in the villages around Kodannur-Ammadam.

Poojya Swamiji laid the foundation stone reciting the shloka: Yam saiva samupaasate siva iti ... . In his benedictory address Swamiji exhorted the promoters and the people to work together to make the hospital function truly like an affectionate mother to all. He complimented them  for conceiving the idea of constructing such a large hospital in this village and said that it would greatly augment the lack of such a facility nearby. Sri. AC Jose, MP inaugurated the project in the presence of the local Panchayat members and other representatives of the people.
