Gurupoornima
will
be observed on July 29. The 6-day annual Retreat – a
period of exclusive saadhanaa in Gurusannidhi – will be held from
July 30 to August 04. Considering the large number of requests
from seekers for participation in the Retreat, a system of registration
and confirmation has been introduced. Properly filled registration
form (available from the Ashram on request by post or e-mail)
must reach the Ashram before June 15. Telephonic registration
will not be considered. Registration will be confirmed by 1st July.
Selected participants are expected to arrive by July 28 forenoon and
take leave by August 05.
Participants
should bring their own copy of Vishnu-sahasranaama, Bhagavadgeeta and
Nitya-samarpanam. Poojya Swamiji would like all the
participants to be in white or light coloured, simple, saattvika dress
during the Retreat. It is expected that all the participants earnestly
wish to become austere and exclusive seekers during these seven days. |
Commemorating
50 years of Poojya Swamiji’s Sannyaasa: Important citizens of Trichur
have arranged a reception on May 05 to commemorate 50 years of Poojya Swamiji’s
ascetic life. To make all the arrangements for proper conduct of the function,
a large committee has been formed with Advocate Sri Therambil Ramakrishnan,
MLA, as the Chairman of the Committee, Sri MP Surendran, News Editor,
Mathrubhoomi as General Convenor, Dr G Mukundan, Dean, Kerala Agricultural
University (Retd), Sri P Sivasankaran (ex-MD of SILK & ex-Chairman of
Asianet), Dr V Raman Kutty, Additional Director of Health Services Kerala (Retd)
& Sri I Vijaykumar as Joint Convenors, and Sri UK Nair as Treasurer.
Poojya Swamiji’s 74th Jayanti will be observed on May 13, at the Ashram
as well as in Delhi, Jamshedpur, Pune and Malaysia.
