Poojya
Swamiji’s 75th Jayanti will be observed on May 13 at the
Ashram as well as in Delhi, Jamshedpur, Malaysia, USA, Pune
and Chennai.
On March 25, Poojya Swamiji addressed a conference of Business
Executives and Ethics-counsellors of Tata Group of Companies in the Conference
Hall, Taj Hotel, New Delhi. The programme focussed on the values being adhered
to by Tata Group for more than a century. Complimenting them for understanding
the significance of values, Poojya Swamiji enlightened them on the eternal
relevance of business ethics and how these values are closely linked to
excellence in performance. Poojya Swamiji emphasized that like financial
resourcefulness and skilled man-power, for any business institution, ethical
stability is also indispensable. Without ethical stability any institution is
sure to collapse, sooner or later.
Poojya Swamiji was invited to inaugurate on April 13, the newly built
Satyanarayana Mandapam of Raghavendra Bhajan Mutt at Pushpagiri, Punkunnam in
Thrissur. Poojya Swamiji reminded the audience that it would be harmful to the
society, if people, especially Brahmins, ignore the disciplines and austerity
of a simple life-style. Good qualities, such as behavioural refinement and
truthfulness (sabhyataa and sannishatha), are always expected of
Brahmins, whose life must be closely associated with societal service. Sri B
Girirajan, the District President of Udupi Madhva Braahmana Sabhaa, presided
over the function.
