2003, The New Indian Express
VENGINISSERY (THRISSUR),
JUNE 28: Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha inaugurated
the two-day 'Brain Stimulatium', an interactive
session for corporate executives, organized by the
Centre for Inner Resources Development of
Narayanashrama Tapovanam, here today.
He said that the workshop will provide the
participants an opportunity to review the problems and
the challenges and help them to arrive at solutions.
It would enable them to discover and recognise the
inner resources in them.
The participation to the workshop was by invitation
and was restricted to 14 top executives from both the
public and the private sector enterprises.
The participants included Satish Kumar and Ravinder
Nath Joshi, both directors of Delhi Metro Project,
Suresh Kumar, general manager, Hindustan Latex, Rajiv
Vasudevan, OSD Techno Park, G C Gopala Pillai,
managing director KINFRA, C N Parameswaran, managing
director Aswini Hospital, Thrissur, G S Nayar,
managing director, Ojus Healthcare, Bangalore,

The session commenced with the participants
introducing themselves and highlighting some of the
challenges faced by them in their work environment as
well as in the family. While all the participants
faced problems on their professional fronts ranging
from motivating personnel and answerability to their
shareholders, all of them had one problem in common -
than of an unfulfilling family life.
Almost everyone admitted that his family life was not
what he would have liked it to be. In their zeal to
excel and deliver, they found little time to spend
with their near and dear ones resulting in conflicts
and tensions.
In response, Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha said the
workshop would provide them with sufficient inputs to
enable them to take up further pursuits gainfully.
