1. (Atma) Chaitanyam is same as the Energy (electric charge) in the Cosmos/Nature (Paramatma)......

2. Punarjanma (Rebirth) is nothing but genetic extension in the form of offsprings which is a result of procreation.

Harih Om Tat Sat.  Your email of 13 Sep. is before me and I am reading it again.

The whole world consists of matter and energy, inter-conversions of both. Chaitanyam or Consciousness is something distinct, the third. Neither matter nor energy can think, feel, remember, etc. But we do all these. So Consciousness is an additional factor, not included in matter or energy.

Any birth is primarily a biological process and extension. But it also has a definite psycho-intellectual content, in the form of heredity and inner potential.

Punarjanma (rebirth) is intriguing.  When you verily enquire into it, it has no locus at all.  This is the supreme truth, though all do not understand it.  If rebirth is for the body, we know that the body at death is cremated.  If it is for the soul, then we know the Soul is birthless and deathless, is ever present, changeless.  For whom is then rebirth at all?

Spirituality, is in truth, a pursuit of experiential wisdom. It is to be pursued with the mind and intelligence.  Mind becomes pure and intelligence illumined by spirituality.  And this redresses all doubts, fears and bondage.
